The average household size was 2.35 and the average family size was 2.98.The median age in the city was 38.3 years. 26.8% of the population are age 0-19, 12.4% age 20-29, 12.5% 30-39, 9.5% 40-49, 17.5% 50-64, and 21.3% over the age of 65. The gender makeup of the city was 49.5% of the population being male, and 50.5% female.
