About Tilden

Tilden, with a population of 951, is located 22 miles west of Norfolk, Nebraska and is situated on the Antelope and Madison County line. Tilden was voted the "Best Place to Raise Kids in Nebraska."

City Office & Clerk

Tilden City Office Hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, and over the noon hour (if staff is available).

Emergency Services

The City of Tilden has a skilled team of emergency Fire and Rescue personnel ready to serve when needed.

Tilden Public Library

Within the library is a collection of nearly 25,000 print and audio books, movies, magazines and other material, a computer lab, and free public access Wi-Fi throughout the building.

Tilden City Pool

The Tilden City Pool hours are 1 pm to 5 pm every day and 6 pm to 8 pm, Monday through Friday.

Tilden Prairie Days

Tilden Prairie Days is for people of all ages. The event is held the last weekend in July each year, Friday through Sunday, and focuses on antiques and collectibles.
